OPP Green Thermal Lamination Film

The production process of GAOFEI OPP green thermal lamination film made in China requires going through multiple rigorous procedures to ensure the stability of product quality.

The first step is substrate pretreatment. The biaxially oriented OPP film is placed in the pretreatment equipment for cleaning and corona treatment, the cleaning process mainly removes dust, oil stains and other impurities on the film surface to prevent defects in subsequent processes, the halo treatment creates tiny pits on the film surface through high-voltage electric shock, enhancing the roughness of the film surface and improving the adhesion between the subsequent coloring layer and the substrate layer.

The second step is the coating of the coloring layer. People need to put the prepared coloring slurry into the material trough of the coating machine and evenly apply it on the surface of the pre-treated substrate layer through the micro-gravure coating method. During the coating process, the coating speed and thickness must be precisely controlled, so that we can make sure uniform thickness and consistent color of the colored layer. After the coating is completed, the film is sent into the drying box and dried at a temperature of 60℃ - 80℃ to allow the solvent in the coloring paste to evaporate and form a stable coloring layer.

The third step is the application of the adhesive layer. After the colored layer is completely dried, staffs need to heat the hot-melt acrylate adhesive to melt it, and then evenly apply the adhesive on the surface of the colored layer through the comma scraper application method.

The fourth step is cooling and setting, the film coated with the adhesive layer will be sent into the cooling roller group. Through the cooling effect of the cooling roller, the adhesive layer is rapidly cooled and solidified to form a stable adhesive layer, and keeps the film flat and prevents wrinkles.

The fifth step is slitting and winding. According to the customer's required specifications, the large rolls of film that have been cooled and set are placed into the slitting machine, the slitting width is adjusted, and then the slitting process is carried out. After the slitting is completed, the film is wound into small rolls. Finally, they are inspected, packaged, and stored in the warehouse for sale. The inspection process mainly checks the color, thickness, adhesion, viscosity and other indicators of the film to ensure that each roll of the product meets the quality standards, the OPP green thermal lamination film has been completed.
